Jandie Smith Turner, CEO of Acuity Events, founded Acuity Sports in 2003 after more than 20 years in the business management and consulting industry. What started out as fun golf outings for athletically inclined friends in Baltimore grew into a niche golf event planning firm and has now blossomed into a full service, boutique event management company that serves associations, non-profits and corporate clients around the world, Acuity Events.

A veteran of management consulting for standouts Booz Allen & Hamilton and Gemini Consulting (EY Consulting), Jandie founded Ensightful Management Consulting and was perfectly happy running that business until the golf bug bit her. Jandie believes that golf is a tool that should be in every business person’s toolkit, and when used correctly, this challenging sport not only teaches life lessons, it helps her clients succeed. Her in depth knowledge of business golf, led her to share her insights and author a book, Golf: The Sport of Business which can be found on Amazon in the Kindle Store. Jandie’s accomplishments with Acuity Sports have made her a sought-after consultant across the country.

Jandie is a proud Baltimore native and graduated from the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. She holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. She also holds a MBA from the Darden School of Business of the University of Virginia. She is married to her favorite golf partner, Eli Turner and enjoys raising two teenage sons, Elijah and Aaron. When she is not helping clients succeed, Jandie spends time sharpening her skills on the links and traveling around the world. She also serves on a variety of boards and is a graduate of the Greater Baltimore Committee’s LEADERship Program. She is a proud graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.
